Since the COVID-19 Pandemic, neurodivergent diagnosis is on the rise. The largest spike was seen in adult diagnoses during that time.
A New Layer of Identity
The COVID-19 Pandemic was a catalyst for the rise in neurodivergent diagnosis. At the same time, the pandemic marked a shift in the level at which many engage with social media. My own personal diagnosis at 35 gave me a new lens through which to view the world. It also made me wonder, how does Generation Alpha feel about their school experience? Below you will see clips from interviews with my own neurodivergent children.
